Moloka'i Day 4

It looked like it was going to be an OK day, weather-wise this morning when we woke up. We packed our lunches, ate breakfast, and decided to go up to the far West end again to Make Horse (pronounced Mocky Horse) beach. We had to off-road on the red dirt a little before getting to it. We were the first ones there... we had the whole beach to ourselves. We had to sit a little ways back since the tide seemed to be pretty high and waves wanted to go all the way up and crest the hill. We sat and read and swam for a while until we watched the clouds roll in and things turn dark and the rain start falling. We pulled back all our stuff under the trees and put up our umbrella and decided to wait it out. It turned out that it passed quickly and the sun came out and the skies were blue... it even got hot!
We had a good, full day at the beach.
It wasn't too windy, there was no sand blowing on us.
Ahhhhhhhh!
