Travel began early. Jade picked us up and took us to LAX at 6:30AM.
We flew from LAX to KOA (Kona) then flew to OGG (Maui) then got all our luggage and dragged it over to the tiny little commuter airport to wait 4 hours for our flight to Moloka'i.
Thankfully, the earlier flight was SUPER late and they let us get on.
This was a TINY little 9-seater plane... we were tossed around like a small ship on a choppy sea!
There were GREAT views though because we flew so much lower!
We found our way to the Alamo building and even though they had told us they wouldn't have a jeep available, they did! We rented it and left to find our condo.
First we stopped in town (Kaunakakai) and went to Friendly Market and got some food for snacks and meals and drinks for the beach. This is a GREAT little market where all the locals shopped... we did get a few quizzical looks :)
Our condo is "Wavecrest"... you can see it on the map below, right by the "450" symbol". We are 13 miles from town.
